Import Etsy Listings to Shopify
Etsy's listings CSV has your titles, descriptions, prices, quantities, tags and image URLs, but packs variations and SKUs into single cells. Split them into Shopify variant rows, keep the image URLs and import the file.
1. Export your products from Etsy
- In Etsy, go to Shop Manager → Settings → Options and open the Download Data tab.
- Under Currently for Sale Listings, click Download CSV.
- Only active listings are exported. Renew any sold-out or expired listings you want to move before you download (renewing costs a listing fee).
2. Map Etsy columns to Shopify
Shopify's importer only reads its own column names. Copy each Etsy column into the matching column of the Shopify product CSV template.

3. Import the file into Shopify
- Add a Handle column and give every listing a unique handle.
- For each listing with variations, add one row per variant with the same Handle, its option values, price and quantity. Leave Title, Body (HTML) and Tags blank on those rows.
- Split the SKU cell so each variant row has one SKU, then delete the Etsy VARIATION columns.
- Put each extra image URL on its own row with the Handle and Image Position.
- Check the file with a CSV checker, import it under Products → Import, then make the products available on your sales channels.
4. Common Etsy migration problems
- Only listings that are currently for sale are exported. Renewing sold-out or expired listings to include them costs a fee and sets each variation option's quantity to 1, so recheck stock after the import.
- The export has one price and quantity per listing. If your variations have different prices or stock levels, enter each variant's price and quantity yourself.
- Weights and shipping profiles aren't in the export. Add Variant Grams and set up shipping rates in Shopify, or shipping costs will be wrong.
- Shopify skips a product if one of its variant rows is missing an option value. Fill in every Option value before you import.
- Etsy listing URLs live on etsy.com, so you can't redirect them to Shopify. Tell repeat customers about your new store and update the links you control, such as social bios and emails.
- Reviews, customers and orders aren't in the listings CSV. Shopify's Etsy guide points to apps such as Shuttle and ShopList for those.

Can 1Click import Etsy listings directly?
Not yet. Etsy import is on the 1Click roadmap. Today 1Click imports from Amazon, AliExpress, eBay and Shopify stores you manage, so use Etsy's listings CSV and Shopify's CSV import as shown on this page.
Can I import the Etsy CSV without editing it?
Yes, with Shopify's free Store Migration app. It accepts the unedited Etsy file and maps the fields for you. Products arrive as drafts, and listings with 101 or more variation combinations are imported without variants.
Why are some of my Etsy listings missing from the CSV?
Etsy only exports listings that are currently for sale. Sold-out, expired and inactive listings are left out unless you renew them first, which costs a listing fee.
Can I sell on Etsy and Shopify at the same time?
Yes. Shopify suggests sync apps such as Shuttle - Sync with Etsy or Etsy Integration - ShopList to keep listings, orders and inventory matched. Shopify's Marketplace Connect app can't make new Etsy connections.
Can I redirect my Etsy listings to my Shopify store?
No. Etsy listing pages are on etsy.com, so you can't add redirects to them. Keep your Etsy shop open while customers find the new store, and point the links you control to it.
