How do I calculate a dropshipping markup?
Multiply the supplier price (converted to your currency) by a multiplier. A multiplier of 2 is a 100% markup. Then subtract shipping, payment fees and ad costs to see your real profit.
What's the difference between markup and margin?
Markup is profit as a share of cost. Margin is profit as a share of the selling price. A 2× multiplier is a 100% markup but at most a 50% margin, before shipping and fees.
What is break-even ROAS?
The return on ad spend at which ads cost exactly your profit. It's the selling price divided by the profit per order. If your ads return less than this, each sale loses money.
Can Shopify apply a markup automatically?
Not to imported products by itself. 1Click applies your multiplier and .99 rounding to every product you import, after converting the currency.
